Emerging technology innovation invites every one of us to think about how and where we can plant the right seeds for the future, particularly for our collective, global community future.
The following foundations must be secure, to ensure AI & Emerging Technology innovation is fair, safe and sustainable:
For the many, not the few. Honouring the needs and aspirations of all, promoting shared interests are promoted and hearing and respecting diverse views.
Community-spirited: Creating welcoming and cooperative communities for innovation’, that enable and encourage positive contribution-making.
Open engagement: All stakeholders have equal opportunity for engagement and contribution.
Accessible participation: Diverse scope for contribution, with different programmes or projects, systems, processes, experiences and events, that are freely accessible to all?
Community cohesion: Developing and harnessing Emerging Technology to unite, to seed a ‘social glue’, which gently binds together the fabric of a diverse, yet eco-socially integrated and harmonious global community, vs one of disintegration, exclusion and division.
How about the following kinds of programmes, networks, systems, experiences and events:
Health, Leisure & Recreation: Emerging Tech innovation focused on the betterment of ecosystemic health and wellbeing, focused on mending, healing and preserving our community assets – both human and natural or wild.
Cultural and Creative experiences: Expanding opportunities into Emerging Tech for talented human creatives of all ages and abilities, and linking with improving health and wellbeing outcomes for marginalised and excluded groups, and individuals.
